Cibus returns to Parma

From the 9th to 12th of May at the Parma Exhibition Center

The 18th edition of the Cibus International Food Exhibition will be held in Italy’s food capital, at the Parma Exhibition Center, from 9-12 May.

Taking place every second year, Cibus is a key trade event in the Italian food industry, where companies committed to ‘made in Italy’ can meet distributors and importers from all around the world. The last event, which took place in 2014, attracted 67,000 visitors, including 12,000 from abroad.
The 2016 event will host over 2500 exhibitors, occupying a massive eight halls of exhibition space.

Though Parma’s most famous products like Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and Prosciutto di Parma are likely to feature heavily at the event, Cibus covers all food product sectors including grocery, confectionary and bakery; fresh, deli and frozen; dairy; cold meats; beverages; international, local and regional; and newly emerging categories such as vegetarian, halal, kosher, private label and more.

Producers from each of Italy’s 20 regions are represented. The event is open to Italian businesses large and small, wanting to showcase their wares to the world, however one thing all exhibitors have in common, is that their products are all made in Italy.
